Balboa Avenue & Ruffin Road Offsite Improvements, City of San Diego

GTS provided traffic engineering design services for off-site improvements in the City of San Diego along the Balboa Avenue and Ruffin Road corridor. The project required coordinated design across multiple phases to accommodate new driveway access, utility work, and roadway modifications along both arterial and local streets.

 

GTS led the preparation of traffic signal modifications, signing and striping designs, and traffic control plans to maintain safe and efficient operations throughout construction. Our team coordinated closely with the City of San Diego, utility providers, and the project team to properly sequence improvements, minimize disruptions, and ensure compliance with City standards.

 

The final design supported improved site access, enhanced multimodal safety, and full compliance with City of San Diego traffic engineering and construction requirements.
