Intelligent Transportation Systems Engineer

GTS is seeking an ITS Engineer in Lebanon or Egypt, working remotely. 

​

YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF: 

  • Designed and implemented intelligent transportation systems (ITS) that incorporate advanced technologies such as traffic signal control, traffic management centers, electronic toll collection, and traveler information systems.

  • Familiarity with the ITS system engineering process, including requirements analysis, system design, integration, testing, and deployment.

  • Telecommunication and network design and optimize communication networks that support the operation of ITS systems.

  • Produce accurate and clear drawings using AutoCAD for ITS infrastructure, including traffic signal plans, roadway layouts, and equipment installations.

  • Review and prepare technical documents, including specifications, design reports, system requirements, and test plans, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards.

  • Prepare Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and specifications for ITS projects, ensuring they align with project budgets and objectives.

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in intelligent transportation engineering.

  • Participating in on-site visits of the client.

YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (prefer emphasis in telecommunications

  • 4 years + of experience

  • CCNA certificate

  • Strong interest and passion for ITS, related infrastructure systems, and technology

  • Strong technical writing skills

  • Good communication and time management skills

  • Interested in pursuing professional accreditation

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
